This plant has been used traditionally for the treatment of dysmenorrhea, threatened abortion, as well as asthma (bhp 1996). Has also been used for the treatment of high blood pressure, menstrual irregularities and nervous tension, as an antispasmodic, diuretic, tonic and uterine sedative.
