The NTP uses ad hoc scientific experts on working groups as needed to provide advice on targeted, time-limited issues. Such issues may include recommendations on specific NTP testing programs or strategies. Working groups report to advisory boards or subcommittees and not directly to the NTP. Working groups are not governed by the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). Meetings of NTP working groups are typically announced and open to the public.
The following subcommittee of the NTP Board of Scientific Counselors and working groups are no longer active.
