Primary Uses or Exposures: KSHV is a herpesvirus that is spread via contact with saliva and unprotected sexual activity among men who have sex with men. It can also be spread from sharing needles, blood transfusions, or organ transplants. In endemic areas, it is transmitted from mother to child and by close contact among family members.
