Nominated Substances: Methyl ethyl ketoxime
Nomination Date: 07/00/1984
Rationale: Methyl Ethyl Ketoxime (MEKO) is structurally related to acetoxime, a rat carcinogen. Oximes are fairly widely used in industry as antiskinning agents in alkyd coating resins. Oximes have not been well tested leaving gaps in the toxicity information available. Possible occupational hazard.
