Nomination Summary for Photoresist mixtures (N98006)

Photoresist mixtures

Specific Substances: Photoresist

Nomination Date: 12/20/1997

Nominator: Private Individual

Rationale: Reproductive and developmental toxicity testing of photoresist chemicals in animals and epidemiological studies provide evidence of the reproductive effects of these chemicals, as tested individually. Workers involved in the manufacture of semiconductors and the printing of circuit boards are exposed to mixtures of the photoresist chemicals. Since the mixtures have never been tested, the mixtures have been nominated for developmental and reproductive toxicity testing and for carcinogenicity, genotoxicity and mutagenicity testing.

NTP Principles: not specified

Status: In Review/Pending
