Known Uses

Plasticizer, fire retardant for plastics, heat exchange & air filter medium, waterproofing, hydraulic fluid, lead scavenger in gasoline (Merck 1989). Tricresyl phosphate is an organophosphate plasticizer widely used in vinyl plastics and as a fire retardant additive for hydraulic fluids.
