Sterilizing catgut ... solvent in manufacture of dyes, perfumes and resins; solvent for liquid scintillation counting solutions Pseudocumene is a starting material for dyes, pharmaceuticals and, especially, for trimellitic anhydride, which is then converted to heat-resistant polyamideimides and polyesterimides.
