Known Uses

Used as a monomer in polyester-epoxy resin coating material in sprayable powder coatings; used as a crosslinking monomer/additive for property enhancement; used as a crosslinking/hardener/branching agent. Tested as an antineoplastic agent in clinical trials. Used in drug containing polymeric gel layer of surgical dressings, transdermal tapes. Used in mucous membrane medications for adhesion
