Known Uses

An intermediate for antihistamines & local anesthetics, as a catalyst epoxy resins & polyurethanes, & a corrosion inhibitor. also used as an amino resin stabilizer & intermediate in the synthesis of dyes, textiles, auxiliaries, & emulsifiers or solubilizers in water-based paints & coatings. dimethylethanolamine salts such as p-acetamidobenzoate have been used in humans to treat CNS disorders. Associated with tobacco: reported either as a natural component of tobacco, pyrolysis product (in tobacco smoke), or additive for one or more types of tobacco products.
