Known Uses

Used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, photographic & photothermographic chemicals, dyes, pigments, agricultural chemicals & rubber. Used in epoxy resin systems for semiconductor potting compounds and soldering masks. Component of polymers including epoxy resin pastes, acrylic rubber-fluororubber laminates, films, adhesives, textile finishes and epoxy silane coatings. Associated with tobacco: reported either as a natural component of tobacco, pyrolysis product (in tobacco smoke), or additive for one or more types of tobacco products.
