Known Uses

Major constituent of oil of pennyroyal. Used for flavoring foods and drinks. Pennyroyal oil has been used as a fragrance agent and as an herbal medicine. Associated with tobacco: reported either as a natural component of tobacco, pyrolysis product (in tobacco smoke), or additive for one or more types of tobacco products.
