ICCVAM’s goals include promotion of national and international partnerships between governmental and nongovernmental groups, including academia, industry, advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders. To foster these partnerships ICCVAM holds annual public forums to share information and facilitate direct communication of ideas and suggestions from stakeholders.
This event will be presented as an online webinar. Representatives of ICCVAM member agencies will describe their agencies' activities both to advance new approaches to safety testing of chemicals and medical products and to reduce the amount of testing required. Participants will be able to ask clarifying or follow-up questions of the ICCVAM members about their presentations during the meeting. Instructions for submitting these questions will be provided to webcast viewers in announcements to be made at the beginning of each webinar session.
Submission of Public Statements
Members of the public are invited to present oral public statements on topics relevant to ICCVAM activities. Those wishing to provide public statements should notify organizers by email to [email protected] by Tuesday, July 15. The number and length of presentations may be limited based on available time. Submitters will be identified by their name and affiliation and/or sponsoring organization, if applicable. Persons submitting public statements and/or associated slides should include their name, affiliation (if any), and email in their submission. Those presenting oral public statements will be contacted to arrange the logistics of their presentations. View NTP guidelines for public statements.
Written statements on topics relevant to ICCVAM’s mission may be submitted to support an oral public statement or as standalone documents. These should be emailed to [email protected] by Tuesday, July 15. Public statements received by July 15 will be distributed to NICEATM and ICCVAM members before the meeting. Written public statements received after the deadline may be reviewed by NICEATM and ICCVAM at a future date. Materials submitted to accompany oral public statements or standalone written statements should include the submitters name, affiliation (if any), and email with the document and should adhere to NTP guidelines for public statements.
